In a jubilant celebration of his 70th birthday, Dr. Omotayo Dairo, a stalwart in the medical field, an Engineer and a political leader in Ondo State Peoples Democratic Party PDP, surprised attendees by unveiling a transformative project — the Idanre Anglican Medical Foundation.
The combined birthday service of the three generations of the Dairos held at Christ Anglican Church, Odode Idanre, attended by colleagues, friends, political associates and community leaders, witnessed the convergence of personal milestones and a visionary commitment to enhance healthcare accessibility and church evangelism in Idanre community.
Canon Meshach Omoyeni in his sermon titled; “uncommon mercy stated how the celebrants had enjoyed the uncommon mercy of God in all aspects of their lives.
The birthday celebration started on the penultimate day of 11th of November, 2023 where Amazing Medical services started with a medical outreach that benefited over one thousand patients in Idanre local government.
In his words, Dr. Omotayo Dairo noted that the events of the birthday are divinely given as God had ordained him for greater assignments in his journey of life. He said the birthday celebration is an avenue for him to appreciate God and to give back to God through medical evangelism.
As accolades for Dr. Dairo’s significant contributions to medicine echoed through the celebratory atmosphere, Dr. Akinyele Dairo, a retired chief financial manager in the United Nation, described the celebrants as true blood of Dairos dynasty that exemplifies humility and hardworking in whatever they find themselves doing.
In like manner, Dr. Mrs Modupe Dairo, who is the wife of Dr. Omotayo appreciated God for her husband’s life and how God has kept them together and prayed that God should give her husband long life in good health.
In their goodwill messages, Mrs Oluwaseyi Jolayemi, Mr Olusayo Dairo and Mrs Olusola Akinrinlola all described their father, Dr. Omotayo as a dedicated person who always put the care of others as priority, fair and just human amongst other attributes their father possesses.
Makinde Event hall was filled to the brim with eminent personalities as the musical maestros, Segun Wonders and Musical Band, Actor folly and his Musical Bands dished out scintillating songs to thrill the guests coupled with assorted drinks and continental dishes.
Eminent personalities at the event were; Chief Dr. Kola Ademujimi, former chief of staff to the Governor, Alhaji (Hon) Fatai Adams,Chairman PDP ondo state, Chief Eyitayo Jegede SAN ,Engr. As the festivities unfolded, it became evident that Dr. Dairo’s 70th birthday was not just a celebration of the past but a springboard into a future where his legacy of compassion and service takes on new dimensions through the Idanre Anglican Medical Foundation.
