CHIEF JOHNSON OGUNDOJU BURIED IN IDANRE, AS CHILDREN, FAMILIES MOURN
The remains of late Chief Johnson Ogundoju who was popularly called “Jekue” and a foundation member of “Egbe Ifedore Club” of Idanre, who died after a brief illness had been buried on the 11th of June, 2023 in Idanre, Ondo State Nigeria.
Until his death, late Chief Ogundoju was a man of many parts and a great socialite. He was a successful Cocoa farmer who used his resources to train his children in different fields of endeavor.
The body of the Late Chief Ogundoju left Bell Mortuary, Akure for lying in state and wake service at his country home, Irowo quarters, Idanre.
Christ Apostolic Church of Nigeria, where the church service took place was well attended by eminent personalities. The Pastor charged the congregation on the need to focus their treasure on things above as eternity was their ultimate goal.
Shortly after laying the body below six feet at his residence with tears flowing down the faces of his children and families, entertainment of guests took place at Methodist High School playing field where dignitaries across the globe were present.
Ola Blessing Military musical Band and other musicians thrilled the guests with melodious songs coupled with different kinds of delicacies and assorted drinks served.
At the reception were friends and well wishers from France and other parts of the Countries in Europe, staffs of Ministry of Community and Social Services, members of Signals Club of Idanre and many others.
Reacting on behalf of the children, Mrs Agnes Akingbesote and Mr Akintoye Ogundoju thanked well wishers and appreciated God for a life well spent of their late father.
