The remains of Late Chief Mrs Caroline Anike Akinfeleye had been laid down below six feet for eternal rest on 16th of june, 2023 at her residence in Odode Idanre, Ondo State. The late chief Mrs Caroline was the wife of a university Don Prof. Ralph Akinfeleye.
Late Chief Mrs Caroline Akinfeleye, who passed unto eternal glory on Saturday 6th of May 2023 after a brief illness, was the Yeye Gbekonuyi of Idanre Kingdom, a devoted Christian and an epitome of a good wife and mother as many people described.
The body of Late Chief Mrs Caroline Akinfeleye left Lagos in a carnival-like on 15th of June, 2023 for wake keep and service of songs at Durosomo Events Centre, Odode Idanre, Ondo State.
The burial service was held at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Idanre where Pastor Dapo Asaaju said, “Death is the graduation of individuals life education and toilings. He encouraged the congregation to accept Jesus as their personal Lord and saviour. Pastor Dapo Asaaju described Late Chief Mrs Akinfeleye as a God fearing and a loving woman to her husband and children.
Entertainment of guests was held at Omokinde Events Centre, Technical College Road, Odode Idanre where Segun Wonder and his Musical Band thrilled the guests with melodious songs. Varieties of assorted food and drinks were served alongside.
Speaking with Platinum Television Correspondent, Mr Tiwa Akinfeleye, Mr Temitope Akinfeleye, Miss Tolulope Akinfeleye who are the children of the deceased said they would be missing their mother and described her as a woman who cared for her family and everyone that came in contact with her.
In like manner, Mr Ajetomobi Akinfeleye (a.k.a Big way) who is the brother in-law to Late Mrs Caroline Akinfeleye showered encomium on her as a good wife who was always after the wellbeing of others.
Distinguished personalities at the reception were; Professor Yomi Akinyeye, Sir Folu Olamiti, Chief Ladi Smart Fadayomi, Hon. Korede Duyile, Hon. Akin Akingesote, Otunba Akinbayo Star, High Chief Felix Akinya, Chief Tayo Akinfeleye, Mr Thomas Akintorinwa, Mr and Mrs Adegoke among others.
