The Honourable member representing Idanre State constituency at the Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon. Festus Akingbaso (Fessywest) has again put smile on the faces of his constituents as he distributes gifts items worth millions of naira to them.
The items include; chest freezers, generators, gas cooker with oven, grinding machine, hair dryers, sewing machines, motorcycles and cash donations.
In his speech, Hon. Festus Akingbaso appreciated the party members for the support he had received from them. He said “this empowerment is part of my electoral promises to impact in the members of my constituency”.
Hon. Akingbaso appreciated the party leaders for their support in making the development of Idanre his priority.
He said the empowerment will come in phases as those that did not benefit now will surely benefit in the coming empowerment. He emphasized that PDP is a party with a formidable structure and ready to win election.
The beneficiaries which cut across the party members and groups include; eminent groups, media group, youth in politics, Acomoran, NURTW and many more.
Hon. Adekunle Akinlalu, who is the PDP chairman Idanre Local government, encouraged party members to continue to support and pray for Hon Akingbaso.
Dr. Dairo praised Hon Akingbaso for his doggedness in making sure development is brought to the door step of his constituents. He encouraged party members to remain resolute with the party.
Responding, Mr Tokunbo Sangotunsin who is a beneficiary and chairman Alade Atosin ward thanked Hon. Akingbaso for his generosity towards the development of Idanre and the party members. He promised to absolutely support Hon Akingbaso in his political ambition.
In like manner, Mr Abayomi Olonimoyo, chairman Ijomu Isunrin ward described Hon. Akingbaso as a God given to Idanre local government. He appreciated him for his kind gesture as he empowered his constituents.
