Hon. Ojo Akinrata, a notable politician, PDP Chairmanship Candidate in Idanre Central local government and an entrepreneur had on 26th January, 2024 laid his father to rest, Late PA Ebenezer Akingbesote Akinrata in Idanre.
The late patriarch, Ebenezer Akinrata who passed away at the age of 92 began his final journey to eternal rest on 25th of January, 2024 with a procession from Jidex Morgue to his country home for lying in state and a wake service.
The Methodist Church of Nigeria in Idale Odode Idanre was packed as Rt. Rev. Matthew Falade, Bishop of Idanre Diocese, urged attendees not to let their characters hinder their eternal destinies.
The reception at Olofin Anglican Grammar School playing field hosted prominent figures like Hon. Adekunle Akinlalu, Chairman PDP Idanre local government, Hon. Boluwaji, Hon. Taye Sunday and Hon. Ade Adegba.
