Hon. Omoloye Ilesanmi, popularly known as “Pragmatic is Authentic,” was born in Idanre into the family of Mr. and Mrs. Akinyotu Omoloye over four decades ago.
He began his academic journey at Methodist Primary School, Idanre, before proceeding to CAC Grammar School, Idanre, for his secondary education. He later attended the Kwara State College of Education where he obtained his NCE. Driven by a passion for knowledge, he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution from the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in the same field.
Hon. Omoloye is the proprietor of Pragmatic College and the CEO of Authentic Table Water and Juice, all situated in Idanre, reflecting his commitment to the economic and educational development of his community.
Speaking on the sincerity of his ambition to contest for the position of Member, Ondo State House of Assembly, Idanre Constituency, in 2027, Hon. Omoloye emphasized that his motivation is rooted in a genuine desire to advance the development of Idanre through effective legislative engagement and quality oversight functions.
He expressed strong confidence in winning the general election if given the party’s ticket, citing his long-standing contributions to the community and the solid support he enjoys, particularly within the education sector across the local government.
Hon. Omoloye highlighted some of his past interventions, including over 13 years of organizing free lessons for thousands of students, as well as providing support to residents during the COVID-19 pandemic, efforts he noted were carried out quietly without media publicity.
A believer in the balance between work and social engagement, Hon. Omoloye is an active member of several social clubs such as Genesis Club of Idanre, Integrity Club of Idanre, Unity and Progress Club of Idanre, among others that bring together prominent personalities within the community.
