Mr Olawole V Makinde buries father and mother in a unique way
History was made in Idanre city on the 8th and 9th of April 2022 when the remains of the parents of the Managing Director of Goshen Trust Homes Ltd, Mr Akinwaleodun Omokinde and Mrs Eunice Omokinde was laid to rest.
The bodies left the Mercy Specialist Hospital morgue on a convoy led by Climax Funeral undertaker to their residence before taken to Omokinde Event Centre where the wake keep took place in a carnival like way, led by CAC Church of God, Yaba Idanre.
On the 9th of April, burial service took place at Omokinde Event centre where a tourist like graveyard was designed for the burial before proceeding to the church for the thanksgiving burial service.
Olofin Anglican Grammar School Playing Field wore a new look as guests were received in a special way inside a marguee air-conditioned tent.
Guests were entertained by Evang. Yinka Ayefele, the popular gospel singer and the hip pop star artist, Tuface Idibia
Many dignitaries made it to the occasion. Among them was the Hon Minister for Niger Delta, Chief Tayo Alasoadura, Distinguished Senator Ayo Akinyelure FCA, Senator representing Ondo Central Senatorial District, Engr Benson Ajisegiri, former Director Federal Ministry of Water Resources, Abuja, Dr Kola Ademujimi, former Chief of Staff, Ondo State, Mr and Mrs Omogbemi Olowokande, MD/ CEO of Omas Commodities Resources Ltd, Deacon Hon Mayokun Akinmoladun, MD/ CEO of Platinum TV, Dr Adeleye Jasper, Olusayero Idanre/Ifedore Federal constituency PDP, MHR aspirants and hopeful, Hon Mrs Ronke Akindolire, Mrs Ronke Akinkuowo, Hon Ogidi Olatubosun Adegbeyeni, MD/CEO Ogidi Block industry, members of MFM church of God, members of Idanre descendant Union Abuja, members of Zycoff club Idanre, members of classical ladies, staffs of Goshen Trust group of companies among others.
Mr Olawole Makinde and his siblings, Mr Olaleye Omokinde, Mr Bola Omokinde popularly called Bola of France, danced to the lyrics of Yinka Ayefele and Tuface idibia.
Mr Olawole Makinde appreciated all the guests and thanked God for the good gestures of legacy his parents has laid down for the children.
