Owa 45th coronation anniversary witnessed another giant stride as numerous Idanre sons and daughters attended the forth dinner/fund raising at the state of the Art of Omokinde event centre, Yaba, Odode Idanre.
Dr. Anthony Omolola, who is the chairman of the anniversary steering committee, in his characteristic manner, ushered in his secretariat team to the event which include; Professor Ropo Akinfala, the secretary of the central committee, Engr. Benson Ajisegiri, finance and Budget committee chairman, Chief Akin Olatunji, chairman security and strategy, Hon Justice Yemi Akintan Osadebey , Hon Mayokun Akinmoladun, Mr Kehinde Adesuyan and others.
In his speech, Dr.Anthony Omolola, said the coronation anniversary is designed to unite Idanre indigenes across the globe and to also form a template devoid of party politics.
Speaking further, Dr.Anthony explained how the money realized would be used to remodel the Owa’s palace to the modern status of a first class king and other developmental projects in the kingdom.
The donation started handsomely as Engr. Ade Adetimehin, who is the chairman of Ondo State All Progressive Congress APC, along side his friends and associates donated five million naira only (#5,000,000). Engr. Adetimehin promised to make ten million naira (10,000,000) hall of fame as he called for peace and unity devoid of politics in Idanre.
It could be recalled that Engr. Benson Ajisegiri had made the hall of fame level as he got support from his friends and associates in making sure the proposed five hundred million naira is achieved.
Mr Victor Agosile, who is the coordinator Local organizing committee LOC, along side his business associates donated the sum of three million naira (#3,000,000) as Hon. Festus Akingbaso who had earlier donated one million naira (#1,000,000) at the Lagos dinner/fund raising, also donated another sum of two million naira (#2,000,000) on behalf of his company, Akinchang Nigeria Limited.

Prince Kayode Aroloye, the Executive Chairman of Idanre Local Government, One million naira (#1,000,000), Basorun Akinloye Akinboni, Five hundred thousand naira only (#500,000), Princess Iwayemi Ogomudia, Five hundred thousand naira only (#500,000), Engr. Bright family, Five hundred thousand naira only (#500,000), Hon. Sesan, Executive Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government, Five hundred thousand naira only (#500,000), Mr Solomon Akinwole, aka King, Three hundred thousand naira only (#300,000)
While Chief Mrs Lola Sessay donated Two hundred and fifty thousand naira only (#250,000), Hon. Justice Yemi Akintan Osadebey, Two hundred thousand naira only (#200,000), camp chairmen, Three hundred thousand naira only (#300,000), Rentals Association of Nigeria Idanre chapter, Two hundred thousand naira only (#200,000), Zycoff Club D intellect, Two hundred thousand naira only (#200,000), Reformite Club, Two hundred thousand naira only (#200,000), Millennium Club, Two hundred and fifty thousand naira only (#250,000), Mr DJ Akingbaso, Two hundred thousand naira only (#200,000), Mr Olabanji Akinfala aka Harrybey, Two hundred thousand naira only (#200,000), and others.
Earlier, His imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr) Frederick Adegunle Aroloye OFR JP, Arubiefin IV, the Owa of Idanre Kingdom and Paramount ruler of Idanre land walked into the hall with a royal applause from all Idanre sons and daughters present at the dinner. Oba Aroloye appreciated the efforts put in place in a bid to celebrate his forty five years of his reign. He prayed for all Idanre indigenes both home and abroad for unlimited blessings.
In his words of appreciation, Mr Solomon Akinwole praised all the committee members for their doggedness. He noted that the donation will continue till the anniversary day.
Meanwhile, Professor Ropo Akinfala who is the secretary of the steering committee announced that the next fund raising will be done in diaspora on the 6th of November, 2021 through zoom link.
