It was yet another historical day in Odode Idanre Local Government area of Ondo State when the remains of the late PA Rufus Ogundiniyi was finally laid to rest at his country residence, along commercial road, Odode Idanre, on the 23rd of November, 2019.
Late Ogundiniyi who was a devoted Christian, a successful farmer and very versatile when it comes to doing the work of God,he lived a fulfilled life before he finally gave up the ghost.
He his survived by wives, children and grandchildren, among which is Mrs Mayokun Olowokande the wife of a business mogul, a cocoa magnate, Mr Omogbemi Stephen Olowokande popularly known as “Anigilaje of Idanre.”
In his sermon titled; “where will you spend your eternity” delivered by Revd S A Ojewale of First Baptist Church, Idanre, where the burial service took place, admonished the deceased children and the guests to always prepare for their eternal home.
Shortly after the church service was the burial reception at Olofin Anglican Grammar School playing ground, which stood agog as guests across the world all stormed the reception to honour the deceased children.
The reception was filled with fun and merriment as the duo popular musicians, Queen Ayo Balogun and Ola Blessing Military band, were on set as they entertained the guests.

In their response, Mrs Caroline, Mrs Mayokun Olowokande, Mr Ojo Ogundiniyi, Mr Sunday Ogundiniyi, among other children all gave thanks to God for the life well spent of their late father and the legacy he left behind.
