Akure, the capital of Ondo State, has recorded a significant development in its hospitality sector with the opening of Darminah Luxury Hotel, a subsidiary of Darminah International Limited.
The newly commissioned facility aims to cater to the increasing demand for premium lodging within the Akure metropolis.
Darminah Luxury Hotel embedded amenities built to provide guests with a truly comfortable experience. The accommodation is available in five categories: Deluxe, Superior, Deluxe Plus, Royal Studio, and Royal Plus.
Each room is equipped with modern facilities including 43 inches smart televisions, 24-hour electricity, air conditioning, and security provided by both local and armed personnel. The hotel also features CCTV surveillance, laundry services, and a restaurant offering both local and continental dishes.
In an interview with Platinum Television, Mr. Jide Osedele, Chairman of Darminah International Limited, revealed that the idea for the hotel was as a result of his personal experience during a visit to Nigeria a few years ago. Unable to find suitable accommodation in Akure at the time, he resolved to establish a hotel that would meet international standards of comfort and hospitality.
Mr. Osedele also noted the significance of the name “Darminah,” which he said is a combination of the names of his children.
Similarly, Mrs. Bukola Osedele, Co-Chairperson of Darminah International Limited and wife of the Chairman, emphasized that the hotel’s staff members are seasoned professionals with a wealth of experience in their respective roles.
Looking ahead, Mr. Osedele disclosed plans to provide airport shuttle services to and from the hotel, as well as to other destinations, to further provide convenience for guests.
Located at Road 1, Ologede Street, Oda Road, Akure, Ondo State, Darminah Luxury Hotel also offers home food delivery services upon request. Bookings can be made by calling 09118880183 or 09118880184, or through Platinum Events at 07036326750.
