Idanre was agog last weekend, 6th August, 2021 as the Distinguished Senator Ayo Akinyelure buried his mother in law, late
Chief (Mrs) Janet Adeola Akinnayajo, the (Majeobaje of st.Peter’s Anglican Church, Aponmulona, Idanre).
The burial ceremony will not only be remembered for its befitting nature and the funfair that was embedded in it, but also provided an avenue that brought together people with different political affiliations across the Country as the Nigerian Army and Segun Wonder Musical bands thrilled the guests with melodious songs.
At the Funeral were; Hon. Kayode Akinmade, Hon. Festus Akingbaso, (MHA), Hon. Tajudeen Adeyemi Adefisoye, (MHR), Mr. Victor Agosile (Brummel), Hon. Adekunle Akinlalu, PDP Chairman Idanre Local Government, Engr. Benson Ajisegiri, Director Federal Ministry of Water Resources, Prof. Samuel Olugbenga Oke, Dean Faculty of Law, Akungba, and others.
Speaking with platinum TV correspondent, Senator Akinyelure described his late mother in law as a true Christian to the core who lived her entire life serving God. He said ” she was a cheerful giver even when I married her daughter, there was nothing but she stoop by us”.
Senator Akinyelure in his message to the family enjoined them to remain in the existing unity their late mother had sowed and continue to exhibit love towards one another.
In like manner, Mrs Olayimide Akinyelure nee (Akinnayajo) described her late mother as a lovely, tolerance and a cheerful giver.” I will miss her counseling as she used to talk to me and she also taught me how to be tolerant and accommodate people”.
